Greetings,

I think I understand correctly that one need only type one's URL into the dmoz search bar to check if their site is listed. However, this procedure does not even work for sites already listed. I assume this means search is currently broken. Can someone please tell me if this is the case? Thanks, Jeff

Yes, I've tried it both with and without the Ws. By the way, searching with keywords seems to work just fine, but searching with a specific url never produces any search results. Thus one cannot verify one's listing using this method. It's easy enough to simply go to the category one submitted to and look for one's site there, but sometimes listings are moved to other categories which are deemed more appropriate. In these instances it's nice to be able to check via url.

OK, I got it now. I removed the ".html" from the end and it works fine. Thanks! Jeff

Just look for domain.com, with no www, no filename, just the domain name.
