Is it possible to remove?

Just wanted to know whether it is possible to remove a site from your directory? I have submitted mine and it is there for last few years. I just pulled down the site and I do not want a reference in DMOZ. I want it to be removed, totally. Do you guys do that if I request so?

If a site is pulled down, we'd usually want to remove the listing.

You can (normally) tell us a site is gone by using the "update" link in that category. An editor will check the site and do what seems appropriate.

Unfortunately, "now" is not a "normal" time -- see the Announcement.

In this case, as your site has actually been shut down, you can also request its removal in the Report Hijacks, Dead Links, Inappropriate ODP Content, and other issues here ONLY thread.
