our company is an environmental products and services company that deals with 5 different categories and a main one of environmental products and services

is it possible to submit to all relavent categories with different information in each linking to the relavent areas of our website

or is it best to submit to the base category of environmental products and services, but doing this will not list our company in the other relavent areas of the directory so how would i go about choosing the best category if only one submission to 1 category is allowed

On the editor side, company sites would generally be listed in the parent category, rather than in each of several subcategories -- but editorial judgment would be involved.

We don't ask site suggesters to make that kind of judgment. We just tell them (in the submittal policy) that if they suggest a site (or related sites) too many times, we may decline to list it/them at all anywhere.

The "many" is indefinite, but not necessarily greater than two.

Suggest a company site at most once to the most specific category that covers "substantially all" of its business, and once to the most specific regional category that covers its place(s) of manufacturing and/or walkin retail sales.

This is, as always, of course, presuming that there IS a company with actual employees and manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution activity, and that the website in question is its unique official online presence. Otherwise, "there isn't any there there" -- that is, there's no conceivable subject for the website to be about.

So my site could end up being in the upper category because my site lists classic racecars, classic cars, classic trucks, classic motor cycles, and newer custom cars as well as new cars.

such as
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Classifieds/Automotive/

instead of

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Classifieds/Automotive/Classics/

Dmoz does say to choose deepest that fits best

Why are you hijacking all other people threads with the same questions over and over again. :thumb1:
