Is my site been deleted from ODP?

Hi there

My site www.africastay.com is been listed under this category http://dmoz.org/Regional/Africa/South_Africa/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services/ for a few months. Recently is been deleted. I don't really understand why as is a fairly comprehensive site featuring accommodation in South Africa and Southern Africa. At this stage, as I wasn't officially notified in any way of potential problems, I'm not sure what to believe. I would appreciate if you could let me know what is happening and if I can do anything to help fix the problem.

Thanks shimmerl. I did check it out and doesn't appear to be listed under that category anymore. A search still shows the site listed but doesn't seem to be there when I browse for it.

I looked at three or four categories -- including some that I thought would be among the larger ones. All empty. That's a quick no-brainer reject. And in the enormously overcrowded market for hotel advertising, it wouldn't be "fair" to look at it again before reviewing several million other sites for the first time.

Thanks for your reply Hutcheson but, this is not a new submission. My site is been there for a few months which let me to belive that was good enough for inclusion in the first place. I'm just trying to find out if there is any specific reason is been deleted now so I can try to fix it.

At this point we'd treat it like a new submittal.

Sites are constantly re-evaluated to ensure they measure up. The criteria for listing has evolved over time and something that was fine to list in the past may not be so now.
