I'm sorry, but we don't preview sites here, or give advice about their content, and we don't give status reports, but, thank you for submitting a site suggestion.

Eventually, an editor will review it, but we can't give you an estimate of when that will be, it could be from a couple of days to several years. :)

I understand that everyone is volunteer for this and that because of that, DMOZ cannot give an estimate. But it is also incredible that so many other search engines put such a big importance on this directory when it seems that the directory is not as updated as it should be and when "it can take years" is the model for updating.

Just my thought

New listings are not 'updates' to thr directory, they are additions. "it can take years" is not a model, merely a statement of fact. Many sites are listed that are never suggested to the directory. Some are listed within hours/days of suggestion. Some unfortunately languish for months or years. Editors add sites to the categories they have an interest in editing, at any given time many categories have no editor interested in them, some have multiple editors. A specific category might have a new and enthusiastic editor tomorrow, an existing editor may take an interest in a new area tomorrow, equally neither may occur for months or years. Thats a reality, sugar coating it helps no one (and forcing editors to work where they have no interest only means we lose editors, leading to less growth/maintenance in the areas they are interested in).
