Is our website still listed at the ODP?

Hello,

we had a website http://www.fit-directory.com listed in
link http://www.dmoz.org/Health/Fitness/Directories [/url]
some days ago we visited the opd and noticed, that our site was no longer in the index. a few hours later it was in the index again and then it dissapeared.
now it hasn't been displayed for two days.
Can somebody in this forum tell us what is wrong with the site?

sincerely
tina

Sorry, I posted this thread twice because I put it into the wrong forum "submission status" at first.

It had been removed. The basic reason is what it nearly always is: inadequate unique relevant content.

Hello hutcheson,

for what reason doesn't our site have unique content? we have more links asorted into more categories than any other of the sites in this category.

do you know who has removed it? this must be someone who doesn't want us to be listed for other reasons.

did you review our url? please tell me your personal opinion about it. what do you think is wrong with it?

sincerely
tina

The listing has been denied. Reason: inadequate content.

Any discussion further than that will be in contravention of the Forum Guidelines.

Just to clarify - several editores have looked at the site and agree with the decision of the editor who delisted the site - this isn't one editor who has a specific reason for delisting.

You can find my spiel about "rising standards for directories" any number of places now. I tend to look at a directory now, and if it doesn't seem to be "rising" as well as "good", I figure it isn't worth listing at all, because we'll either remove it in six months, or other affiliate spammers will be badgering us because they have more affiliate links than it does.
