The data used for the ODP search function lags what is listed in the categories by several weeks at times.
The search function is there to find categories, but as a by-product it can sometimes be used to see if, or where, a site is already listed. In this case the domain name needs to be entered without the www on it.

A common mistake when searching is to enter http://www.example.com or www.example.com. Try searching for example.com and see if you find your site.
Hi it was when i applied to become an editor for the caravan and camping section, if was refused because i read it wrong and gave my own sites as examples (so totally understand being turned down, it must of looked like i was just trying to get my own sites listed, but this truly wasnt the case i wanted to help other people in this area, and most of my sites are already listed anyway, so i may try again now ive read it properly with my contact lens in

But its not, ive tried all the different ways of searching

It seems as though the reviewing meta made an error because it's <one of your other URLs> that is listed in the category. The other comments were valid though.
