Is something wrong

It has been over 1 year since i suggested a site. Is this normal or is it a sign that something is wrong such as picked the wrong category?

the answers given in those threads apply to anyone asking the same question

most of the time all these post are saying is it just takes time theres nothing you can do. but over a year you are saying is too much time and something is wrong and i am suppose to guess what it is from reading these millions of q/a's is that correct? If my site is a shopping site and some of my suppliers are listed here already, my site may not be included is that correct? if my site were more informative giving information about the line of products i am selling or giving more information for my target audience would this be included?

You are jumping to conclusions/fearing the worst. There are hundreds of millions of websites that we haven't yet evaluated and it's going to take time for our hard pressed and much maligned volunteers to get around to them all. Please be patient.

I have the same problerm,last year my website came online,but for a total year there is same no progress,that's horrible !
