Hello!

I've tried several times (today, 2004, 23th July) to submit my site, however, after clicking on button "submit" nothing happens.. On browser's status bar, it's said that connection to server is established and answer is being waited for. After a while, error is shown that no answer was received.. Is that ok?..

Best wishes,
j.

p.s. site that we wanted to submit:
www.buzzsession.com

p.s.s. link, used for submission:

Hmmm... If i were you, id ask to see if your site made it to the unreview list for the category you submitted to. Its better to be safe than sorry. Ask this in the submission status forum.

It appears you have trouble following directions. I said to ask about this in the submission status forum. Also if you only submitted your site once, yes we did recieve it. I noticed you had problems with following directions there as well. Right under the description box on the form is a list of rules to follow on writing a description. I think you missed the one that said

"Don't repeat the title of your site in the description."

If your not careful, not following submission guidelines could get your site rejected.

Just to clarify. We don't reject a site just because that site was submitted with a poor title or description. That does not happen.

However, if an editor has a few minutes to quickly look at a category, then often they will go for the "easy edits" first. Those include deleting obvious spam, moving stuff to other categories that was mis-submitted but looks like it might be listable, deleting mis-submits that look to be not listable anywhere, and listing sites into the public directory that already have a reasonable title and description as submitted, and look like they might be quick and easy to review with minor editing.

That said, a good site that was submitted with a poor title and description might languish in the "to do later" pile for quite a while longer. So, to get your site noticed make sure that you do a good job in submitting it - to the right category and with the best title and description that you can muster - following the Guidelines.

I agree with you g1smd on what you said. Im just trying to point out though that there are some things in the guideliines where if you choose not to follow them could get your site rejected. Such example would be submitting a mirror site. If people don't pay attention to the submission guidelines, then it makes the editing process much more difficult. Thank you for clearifying my post g1smd. I wasn't as clear as I should have been on my post.
