Is there a reason why my site cant get included?

Hi all,
I've submitted my site to the open directory and it still has not been included. Most of the time I see sites excluded due to lack of "unique content". I dont think that applies to my site, at least I hope that is not the case. Any info would be appreciated.

So far no editor has reviewed the site, which is the only reason at this time we can provide.
Review times can be minutes to years, we know not which will be closer to actual timeframe.
As to what the editor sees as unique content on the random day they do review the site, only they will know.

I hope it doesnt take years... :D Also, I applied to become an editor, but never received a response. Is it ok to reapply? how do I find out the disposition of my first "application"?

Count on it taking years, and then do what you need to do in the meantime. And if it happens earlier, you may be so busy doing what you ought to do that you don't even notice.
