Is there something wrong with the directory?

Hi there,
For the past few days, I've been trying to get into the directory and it doesn't seem to be working at all. Every time I put a query in, I get 0 results. Anyone know what's going on and when to expect this to get fixed?

Same thing happened to me, it saids the server was too busy. Perhaps we should wait for a while and let the engineers and technicians do their job <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Some days ago staff mentioned that some users (maybe robots) are causing very heavy load to our searchengine. They are aware of the problem and working on it.

Hopefully they get it under control soon. (You might not realize, but a malfunctioning search is even more annoying for editors than it is for you <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

The directory server was off for maintenance most of Tuesday and Wednesday, but is back up and running now.

The search function does occasionally break. In any case the search data can be a week behind what has happened in the directory.

If you are attempting to reach DMOZ today, the site is again down for an unknown time.
