Is this correct?

some experts suggested that my site "Youth Jewellery" is best suit to be submitted to (Regional: Oceania: Australia: Business and Economy: Shopping: Jewellery) category, and one of them already helped me submitting to that category. Is there a way to check if my site really has submitted to that category?

Sorry, there is no way to check this.
But if you are unsure if it is suggested just suggest it again. Two suggestions for the same website isn't a problem. When you make the suggestion you will be told on screen if the suggestion was succesfull (or you will get an error).

No, there isn't. If the category isn't appropriate, the editor who eventually reviews it (we can't estimate when that might be) will send it to the right one.

Thank you for your kind responses pvgool and motsa. If all editors could be that efficiency, there wouldn't be that much complaints about Dmoz across the net! ^_^
