Is this directory dead? Irrelevant & porn sites

Hi,

I submitted to this directory several months ago and I am still not listed. While checking the currently listed sites I found a couple porn sites and just plain irrelevant links.

The site I am trying to submit is Dada Hosting caters to artist.
http://www.dadahosting.com/

What should I do in this situation?

Hi Jamison,

well, there are three things you might want to do: first, remember that we are not Google, and while their directory listings were imported from the ODP, they have not updated the Google directory for a while and so they do not show the current version of the ODP data base.

So you may want to check instead the category http://dmoz.org/Arts/Visual_Arts/Resources/Web_Hosting/. That may also contain sites that have changed their content; if you find any misplaced or hijacked sites in there, we are really grateful if you would tell us which ones they are. Finally, to find out what the status is for your site, go to the Site Submissions status forum and post an enquiry there. Please make sure that you read the forum guidelines on top of that forum and format your request accordingly.
