It seems more and more difficulty to submit a website

Hello, everyone, As you know that DMOZ is the best free open directory project, But now it seems that it comes more and more difficulty to submit a successful website.

I have submit <url removed> about computer software last year, and I have spend a lot of times on it. But now, one year had past. It was failed. So I want to ask anyone whose website was successfully submit on DMOZ. Could you tell me some skills？ It's really important to me. Thank you very much !! And if it was successful, I can help you do something I can, such as: recorde a video, translate an article, recovery your lost files, data, photos and so on. Please help me. :blink:

It is still as simple or difficult as it was a year ago or 5 years ago. It did not get any more difficult at all.
BTW what you call submit we call suggest. The difference might seem small but is essential. Submit implies that DMOZ provides a service to people who submikt a website. Suggest does not imply such a service. And that is correct, it is not DMOZ who provides a service but the people who suggest a website provide a service to DMOZ.

What do you mean with failed. If a suggstion fails you will be told immediately on screen.
I suppose you mean that the website is not listed yet. Your thoughts about this problem are probably caused by the fact that you do not understand the porcess and goal of the DMOZ suggest process.
Editors can use the pool of suggested websites to fulfill their task. That task is to build categories, the task is niot to review websites. Editors can also ignore the pool of suggestions and look for listabel websites elsewhere.
For this reason time between suggestion and review of a website can vary from a few days to several years.

A listing in DMOZ will be of no imporatnce for a website or its owner. Nothing magical will happen.
