Its been 4 years, editor not responding not sure what to do...

Any help much appreciated please, not sure what to do. I am complying with the DMOZ guidelines, only submitted my site once to the right category 4 years ago. Contacted the editor over a year ago and 6 months ago (dont want to hassle her) no response each time.

What should I do?

If you haven't re-suggested your website for 4 years, please suggest it again now. There was a massive server crash in late 2006 and most pending suggestions were lost .

If you have suggested your website in 2007 or later, the suggestion is in one of the following states.

- Pending evaluation. There's no need to do anything.
- Declined. Unless the site has changed significantly since it was suggested, do nothing.
- Listed . You can check for this by using our seach for mydomain.tld without any prefixes.

Please could you clarify how to find out if your site is listed in DMOZ e.g. mydomain.tld

If my site was www. cheapgoldfish.com would I search your site for cheapgoldfish.tld

Does it take a while after a site is accepted before it appears in the DMOZ search directory?

Yes. The search runs on a seperate server with its own database. Normaly it will take 1 or 2 weeks before a new listing shows in search. Currently we are having technical problems and search has not been updated since some 2 months.
