It's Disturbing but...

Someone please tell me if I'm wrong, but I run a couple of online business's that have attached store-fronts in Phoenix Arizona. One is an Insurance Agency and a spin off of that is a Notary Bonding Agency. I have been trying to get listed in the web sites proper categories for several years now only never hearing a response. This would not bother me because of my existing natural rankings in major search engines but many engines base their results off of the DMOZ directory. So if you can't get listed in the Dmoz directory, then you can't increase your business?

Ok, now that it's all out there, heres where Ive submitted.

Which also happens to be where the only other listing for my type of business is.
Title: Notary supplies and bonds. <~~short quick and to the point
Description: Notary public resources including supplies and bonding services for the entire state of Arizona. <~~ exactly what I do.

So why after years can I not make the 2nd listing in that category. Why does BondwriterSouthwest have the only listing?

Why am I having problems? It's been years with no responses or comments. Just nothing and nothing with alittle nothing again. I re-submit every 6 months or so just in case I have slipped through the cracks but I do see flaws in this system when I can't even get my legitimate business's listed.

The most common reasons for not getting listed in Regional are:

1. Insufficient unique content
2. Insufficient unique content
3. No storefront evident or no storefront address on the site.
4. Insufficient unique content
5. Under construction/coming soon

Go ahead and suggest it again to the Regional category:
1. Make sure the title is the actual name of the business.
2. Make sure you suggest it to where the storefront is physically located, which means if you are in Phoenix, sgeest to Phoenix. If you are in Glendale, you have my sympathy, but you still ahve to suggest it to Glendale, not Phoenix.
3. Make sure that the description tell swhat someone can find on the website.
4. Make sure that the editor can actually find the physical storefront address without having to hunt for it.
