I have read all the details in becoming an author or an auditor of dmoz. I need a bit information on what reasons websites listed in dmoz are taken out of the directory?

Hi
The commonest reasons are:
1) The site is no longer there
2) The site content no longer meets the category description and it is moved - the editor may not be able to list it in it's new category so it has to wait for a another editor to review it again. If it is listable, it will eventually be relisted.
3) The site no longer meets our guidelines

mmm rite. What if somebody spams or spreads bad words for its competitor website listed in dmoz? then you will still take the website out of the category?
