My website was down during your last update. As a result, out listing that we had on DMOZ dissapeared. What to do?

============================== Our site========
» Caribbean Recipe Forums
Message boards for sharing recipes from the islands.
http://www.bizzz.com/caribbean/ubbcgi2/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro ==============================================

it was listed here:
Home: Cooking: World_Cuisines: Caribbean:

As a matter of fact, if you go to the addres below, you'll see it's still listed a some dmoz clone that hasn't yet been updated.

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=ht...Search&fr=FP-tab-web-t&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8

Please advise, as we know sometimes it takes a very very long time to get accepted in DMOZ and our site was already accepted over a year ago.

thanks

There are two courses of action.

1. Do nothing and hope that an editor has parked the URL along with other dead sites and will come back to it at some point to see if it is working.

2. Resubmit to the exact same category, with the exact same title and description and add a note like this: [site is working again]

There really isn't any mechanism other than resubmitting. But you might mention in the proposed description something like [site was down, was removed by link checker, but is back up now.]

The editor may choose to review the site more quickly because it may be an easy re-review. But there's never any way of compelling quick action.
