Hello,
We currently have several of our websites listed on DMOZ and have done for over 7 years now. My question is realy how adaptable in DMOZ?

We recently amalgimated five websites into one big website. These websites had evolved over the years and have been listed in lots of areas within DMOZ. I have submitted the new domain but until it's listed it would seem silly to close all the other links (even though many of these sites are closed or re-directs).

Is there a way of keeping all the editors informed or a head editior?

:star:Any advice would be welcomed.:star:

Well firstly, we are constantly looking for dead and redirecting URL's. When found these are removed from the public directory until suitable replacements (if available) can be located. So if you know of a list of dead, no longer listable, or redirecting URL's then you would be doing everyone a favor by pointing us to it before our automated systems or an editor finds them later anyway.

You can do this by visiting the category the link resides and selecting the update listing option and give an explanation of the issue or you can visit the Quality Thread on this forum and make a post pointing us to them and someone can take care of them when time permits.

The above will alert all the editors who might work in those areas to the problems.
