Hi all,

In case your submission get dumped, is there a way to submit a request ? other than re-applying ?

Thanks in advance

Hi drako

(I'm assuming you mean suggesting your site.)

The first thing is to check your site against our guidelines to see if it is listable. If it is not there is no point in suggesting it. Be honest about why you have created your site - is it to generate money through advertising? In which case, if it is not listed, it is probably not worth perservering.

Otherwise the main reason it is not listed is that an editor has not yet reviewed it. It can take a long times especially in the areas that receive a lot of spam. If you have not suggested t this year, a second suggestion might be in order as many suggestions were lost during the crash last October.

regards

yes, exactly.
I have a site, it is related to my job. But there are some information pages too. Usefull, I mean.
Anyway, I have seen sites like mine are listed.
I just do not want to be a pain in the ass, thats all. It's been a month since I submitted for the first time. Should I wait another month or two before submitting ? or Can I post a request asking the status of the process without re-submitting?

 A month is nothing

If the site is about you and your job, it is probably listable because you are unique.

So your site is now waiting to be reviewed and that depends on when an editor chooses to spend time in the category. That could be a long time.

Having suggested your site, the best thing to do is to carry on improving it and promoting it in other ways. Our motto is "Suggest and forget".
