Land for sale site trying for a year now

Our site <url removed> has been for a year now trying to get under Real Estate Vacant or Undeveloped Land. We are a quality ecommerce site that is now number 11 or so for Google "land for sale" and we now have members listings value at about 1/2 billion dollars. Seems like we would qualify to be listed but no luck at all. If any editors are here would certainly appreciate a look into it.

I so hope that doesn't mean that you've ignored our submission guidelines which require that you suggest your website once to the one best category

.

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

If any editors are here would certainly appreciate a look into it.

Whilst you might think that your website deserves priority attention, so does every other website owner.

I understand it quite well. Its just I have see others here ask for some help and that what I am doing, not demanding it as you cannot do that, just asking if an editor would be kind enough to take a look. If not I will resubmit at year mark or try different category.

As I said above, There is no need to re-suggest your website.

You already chose, and suggested your website to, the one best category. Deliberately now suggesting it to the wrong category isn't helpful because some editor will just have to move it back again - a waste of effort all round.
