I want to start contributing to the dmoz project again, but my account has lapsed. I don't remember the account name or password, and the email address I used to set the account up is no longer valid.
I tried to sign up to be an editor, but it sent me to the request reinstatement page because I was truthful in checking the box that said "I was an editor". I can't get beyond that point.
What should I do now? Was my application sent? (I hope not, I made a mistake...)
I couldn't find the confirmation email after searching through my old email. However, I did find the reply email I sent in 1998! Would the long alphanumeric string in the subject line be helpful? (c9622134c93144d3555b59b105448f18)
