Linking to PDFs

Hello,

I wondered what the policy is for linking to a PDF please?

Specifically this is the category

And here is the link,....a local government produced leaflet which I would suggest adds value to the category.

Yes we can and do link to PDF files. Simply visit the category and suggest the URL.

We sometimes list pdf files. But prefer to list websites. A pdf is most of the times part of a website, in such cases we either list the website mainurl or in certain case we might decide to list a deeplink for a specific subject.
If you think the pdf or website is relevant for the category and adds usefull content than please suggest it to the category.

Thank you both. I am preparing a request to edit a small category ( St Cuthberts Way ) as listed in the first post. Thought it would be quite simple and then realised that deep links and a PDF actually provided the best (IMHO) information so wanted to double check before i shot myself in the foot
