We have a site that is listed if you drill through the various categories on Dmoz (and the Google directory). However, due to an oversight the the domain name was not renewed and the site was down for about 48 hours. Now the site cannot be found when searching (using doamin, title or keywords) on Dmoz a(nd the Google Directory). Does this mean it is going to be dropped or will all be OK after next update? Should we resubmit? Thanks for any advice.

Rule #1 - Do not rely on search to find a site in DMOZ - search is mainly intended to find categories
Reul #2 - We don't control what Google does
Rule #3 - If the site is listed in it's categroy, it's there - if the site is not listed in it's category, it has been deleted or moved to another category
Rule #4 - expired domains are automatically removed - there is usually an attempt to check if they get renewed and then will get relsited in ODP
