Listed but unable to find with URL in search window.

Hi there,
My site is listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Africa/Botswana/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services/Tour_Operators/Safaris/

my site's url is http://www.safaris-botswana.com

however, when I put the URL into the search window the site doesn't come up? What could be the reason for that?

There are many reasons why that may happen, but it should be no cause for concern. As the ODP is a directory and not a search engine, the main thing is that it is listed in the category.

The search eninge is a convenince, mostly for editors, and it intended to find categories, rather than sites, specifically. it ialso takes a long while to get updated, doesn't use the keywords most people would expect, etc.

In short, you are listed in the directory. Downstream users of the data will get it whenever they next choose to update. there is nothing more than we or you can do.

http://www. is just too much for it to think about.
