Listing disappeared

Hello. I submitted http://www.freewebs.com/moarks/ a few months ago and it was accepted and really very quickly listed in the major search engines. It has subsequently disappeared.

I'm guessing a couple possible reasons. We updated to a *real* domain name - http://www.moarks.com - which could have appeared to be a mirrored site???

Or, I muffed up with the keywords.

I'm not sure whether to simply resubmit it or whether corrections need to be made. I appreciate any help.

I am afraid that neither of those specific URL's are showing as ever being listed within the ODP so any difficulty with search engines is completely unrelated. Eitherway, listed in ODP or not, how search engines operate is out of our control and the ODP pay no attention to the use of keywords.

An editor has recently reviewed a submission for http://www.freewebs.com/moarks/ in the past month however chose not to list the site for reason specified within our Site Selection Criteria

If you believe you may have submitted a different URL you should request a status in the Submission Status thread; paying attention to the posting guidelines

Nothing disappeared, since neither site was ever listed in ODP.

www.freewebs.com/moarks/ was reviewed and not found acceptable in May.

www.moarks.com has never been touched by an editor

You cannot muff up with the keywords, since keywords have no relevance.

Well, at least we're telling a consistent story here.

The site is "pretty minimal" as websites go -- just barely more than a business card. And you submitted it to an inappropriate category -- "Appraisers" certainly doesn't fit ALL the content, or even MOST of the content on the page: even if you personally know it constitutes most of your business, that's not a fact that the website reflects.

The site might, however, have enough content for http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer.../Shell_Knob/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/ and I'd suggest you resubmit it there. Either mirror would probably be OK for the site, just don't submit both URLs.

Thank you. Very interesting. I made the assumption that it had been accepted as it was searchable on Google and other engines. I wonder how I did that!
