Listing in appropriate categories

Hello, and thank you for your time.

I have submitted a site to http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Consulting/Marketplaces/ and believe that it is applicable to http://dmoz.org/Kids_and_Teens/Teen_Life/Volunteering_and_Service/ as well. My site has been in a pool of pending submissions for a few months, so my question is as follows:

Am I better off waiting for a response to my first submission (and see if the editors also deem it suitable for this other directory and add it on their own) or should I add the URL to the second category? I do not want my submission to be deemed "SPAM" by editors because it was submitted more than once.

Have a great day.

Mike

Edit / Delete the last message. It looks like there are no appropriate categories in the Kids and Teens directory at present. I just feel that odd jobs may need a more regional / less consultant-like category to reach the target audience. Maybe I'm wrong, and should just wait...?

I would submit the site directly to the Regional category - there's no problem with having one site simultaneously in both a topical and a regional unreviewed pool.
