My site http://arbutushouse.com has been listed in the directory for years but has suddenly vanished. There have been no major changes to the site. Can anyone offer an explanation. To my knowledge there is not an editor for my topic/area.

Thanks in advance for any info

cheers

When ther website was last rechecked it said that the B&B is now closed and was removed for that reason. Since it is under new management now, I would suggest you resubmit it. Most likely the category it was listed in previously - Regional/North_America/Canada/British_Columbia/Localities/V/Vancouver/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Bed_and_Breakfast - will still be the best choice.

No listing is guaranteed permanent placement in the directory.

Please Note: As of June 1, Arbutus House will be under the new management of Joan and Claes Fredriksson

Gives the impression that June 1 is the right time to relist this site. Am I mistaken?

Thanks Windhapr and Cleaner. We operated seasonally this year and were closed for a short while for R&R but still taking reservations. We have sold and are in transition of new ownership but still open for reservations.

Is there any way to have the listing reinstated other than re submitting ?
There is no editor for Regional/North_America/Canada/British_Columbia/Localities/V/Vancouver/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Bed_and_Breakfast and submissions seem to take many months.

cheers --- thanks for the quick reply.

If you note that you're a seasonal business in [brackets] after your description, then it's likely that, even if you're not presently open for reservations, but do have information, the site won't be dropped.
