Listing in Dmoz? Im Ready to try again...

Hi all, I have returned after 3 months of hard coding and I am ready to submit my website again.

I understand that my site needed to have unique content. I am putting togther content that is, in my mind, unique. However, quantity may be short to begin with. I am guessing about 25% of the total pages initially. Is this a high enough percentage?

My site is a store and therefore the products themselfs are not unique but I wish to support my site with usefull information for my visitors.

Would I be correct in thinking that I should submit my site in the usuall way. Is the comments box on the submission form for me to comment about my site or Dmoz in general?

Does my own description always get altered by the Editor, How many times can I appeal against the decisions without being blacklisted?

Can I request a confirmation on this forum that the site was considered?

Thanks for all your Help in advance.

My first thought would be "no" but it's difficult to say for sure without knowing the site in question (I'm quessing it's the one you asked about previously)?

Yes.

Is the comments box on the submission form for me to comment about my site or Dmoz in general?
It's for any comments you want to make about your submission.

Does my own description always get altered by the Editor
Probably. How much it gets altered depends on how closely the submitted description follows the guidelines. I've had submitted descriptions that I used almost verbatim and I've had others that I had to completely throw out and rewrite from scratch.

How many times can I appeal against the decisions without being blacklisted?
Appeal in what sense? Discussing here? Or resubmitting? If your site is repeatedly deemed an affiliate and unlistable, doing either isn't likely to get you listed. That's not a "blacklist", just the way things are.

Can I request a confirmation on this forum that the site was considered?
Your best bet is to reopen your earlier thread (if the site in question is tonebase.com) and ask there.
