Hello, I am getting very frustrated trying to troubleshoot this problem with ODP-

I wanted to submit my site to ODP the other day, only to find that the site is listed with entirely inaccurate information in an entirely incorrect category. I applied as an editor, referencing this problem, in hopes of getting some sort of assistance. Can anyone help me get in touch with someone or actually help me with this issue???

I've moved your thread because it's about neither a bug nor a feature.

Please visit the category where your website is listed and use the update listing link at the top of the page to request any changes. Some volunteer will process it but we can't predict who or when that might be. Most editors give them priority.

While we are keen to accept new volunteers, we do not welcome people who are interested only in their own sites, particularly when there are already mechanisms for suggesting a site and/or requesting changes to an existing listing.

However, if you are genuinely interested in helping to build and improve the directory in other ways, and if you take care to complete the application form carefully and honestly, you will very likely be accepted. :)

If you have received feedback about an unsuccessful application, simply follow the advice you were given and try again. No problem.

Thanks for the suggestion, I wish it had worked.

Would you mind being more specific? What, exactly, did not work? An "Update listing" request is not handled automatically but has to be reviewed by a volunteer editor, so it is not instantaneous. And an update request that asks for something against the editor guidelines, such as an inappropriate title or description, will not be acted on when it is reviewed. Neither of these things is a sign that the process is not working.
