We are looking at the same url, but not seeing the same page. I can see a functional site. I have checked in a different browser, going in direct and not via the ODP. Possibly the domain is blocking a range of IPs that includes yours.

It appears we're not looking at the same thing. Try clicking on the link you just listed here -- does it really take you to the page you describe? I see what I suspect jeanmanco sees, a full site. See the attached screenshot.

I get the same IP you do but you can see what I see and what jeanmanco sees. Do you see what you see if you go directly to the IP address instead of the FQDN?

Hmmm, their terms of use says "SPYWARE SCANNING
ilectric has determined that spyware is a serious problem to all users of the Internet. Spyware is software that malicious people secretly install on a computer for the purpose of recording user behavior and/or displaying unwanted advertising. Accordingly ilectric may scan visitors to the ilectric website for spyware. If spyware is detected then the user will be offered a link to remove it. Otherwise the scanning will be completely transparent to the user and will in no way interfere with the normal operation of your website. " Wonder if maybe that's the trouble. That would explain the parasite.js script reference (it's an IE spyware scanner).

Trust me. I do not have spyware in my computer. I do not use Internet Explorer, at all. Only when testing websites.

The source was taken with Firefox.

3 other people see the same page as i do. We are all web professionals. We all have spyware ? :)

Oh .. It doesn't matter :)

Yes the screenshot motsa gave is what I saw. I did wonder whether cloaking was going on, with the functional page being served up to ODP editors. That's why I tested with another browser and not routing in via the ODP at all.

Very strange.

Check the Google index. It's not in it. Check the cache in Yahoo and MSN. It doesn't have any.

Exactly the meta tags i gave you above.

Check the meta tags YOU see in the "real" website. Does it contain any robots no-cache tag ?

Actually, my last post was not saying that you have spyware but that perhaps there's something about your and your friends' computer setups that doesn't work well with ilectric's spyware scanning thingy or causes them to serve you a markedly different page from the rest of us.

That's why I tested with another browser and not routing in via the ODP at all.

Nope, just a 'noarchive' tag. Don't know what to tell you. If you figure it out, let us know. :) In the meantime, the site is listable according to what we all see.
