Lost contact with DMOZ

Hi again DMOZ - I say again because I cannot log on with my original username.
Twice I have sent messages to postmaster @ resource-zone.com but no responce in 3 weeks - so I've re registered.

A strange thing is that I can still see my last status post (six months since my last status post is only 2 days to go - whoopee!) but it does not come up with username search.

My site has been waiting well over a year now but that's another story. First things first can someone tell me why I cannot access my old name Baldygo?

There is no account on this system for Baldygo. Some old, unused usernames where purged a while back, so maybe this was one of them.

postmaster @ resource-zone.com gets a lot of spam and emails from people using it to check on the status of their sites and/or editor applications when they're not supposed to. It can take a long time to go through it all and unfortunately that generally means delays in replying to legitimate queries.

Thanks for the replies - If Baldlygo is unused then why was I unable to re-register with it again?

....oh and also one reason I have not used it is because I had to wait 6 months for a status update.

I think I got the message that the username was already in use so I presumed it was my original account. Here is my old thread

That was from before we converted to vBulletin -- we lost a few IDs during that changeover. If it won't let you sign up with baldlygo, you've already signed up with a new ID so just keep on using that one (and use the old thread since you managed to find it

).
