Hi
I submitted my site http://www.cardsnscrolls.co.uk on the 30th November 2004 and recorded the submission in a text file which has now disappeared!

I back up daily but the file must of gone missing a while ago and my backups write over each day :-( Lesson learned.

As my site was focused on three areas, i asked in the submission form if i could have help listing it.

I have heard nothing back and cannot find the site in the directory.

My fault for being vague.

Is there a way to find out if it is still to be looked at, or could/should i relist?

Kind Regards

Paul

No, I'm afraid there is nothing we can do if we don't know where the site was suggested. We can see whether it has been reviewed and listed, moved to another category or removed from the unreviewed sites - and it hasn't, so it's probably sitting where you suggested it, waiting for review.
You have a couple of options: if you try and recreate your thought processes when you suggested the site, and tell us the exact category you think you probably suggested it to, we'll check if it is there. (It's nowhere in Shopping/Gifts/Personalized or subcategories - I had that unreviewed pool loaded already so I checked and your site isn't waiting there.)
Or you could resubmit, make a note of the category (pen and paper might be a good idea ;) ) and return here in a month's time to ask for status.
Or you can do nothing, since it's likely that your site is already waiting for review, we're just unable to check where it is. We won't be able to tell you anything other than it is waiting, even if we do find it.

It's your call :)

Thanks for replying so quickly.

I have three main areas of which i definitely didn't submit on one. What i will do is submit on that topic (after researching the best category and then printing it all out!

I understand you are allowed two categories.

It is important to me to get listed here and i am terrified that if i 'do it wrong', i'll never get in.
I will leave the other two areas and wait, they are unrelated to the one i will submit.

Thank you again for your time.
Pen and paper at the ready!

Kind Regards

Paul

Unless one of those categories is in Regional or another language, no. Don't know where you got that idea.

I'm sure i read that, but i'm not about to disagree with you :)

As it's my mistake, i'll wait another month.

I'll use the time in between to try and remember the correct category
It's all windows fault :)

I must try harder..........

Thanks again for the quick reply.

Kind Regards

Paul
