Just a question to those who can answer.

Noted first that my site
http://www.egyptmyway.com
was listed 18th of June '03 in following category
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Africa/Egypt/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services/Tour_Operators/
- when I by chance looked back today, I can't find it.

Neither can I find it if I search DMOZ through standard search.

Please can anybody help?

When I tried to post, my login name and password was not valid either so I had to add "aa" in the end of my username. I hope its a bug or something else, as the site is all own content, own articles and even photos that never has been published before online or offline:
http://www.egyptmyway.com/articles/picturescityofdead.html

I'm accused of being close to fanatic with own content, so today I had to sit hours at the secred police as I took photo of a statue in downtown Cairo. It turned out it was close to some very important governemental buildings, but there was no sign telling you so... Mind you, they were very friendly and polite and I still have my photos (-:

So all good persons, any help, explanation would be highly appreciated,!

This site is the fruit of 12 years of my life in this country, and IMHO I believe it will add some small parts to the internet community as well...

Don't worry. It's still there. You just can't see it. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Due to the server upgrades currently going on, the public pages show an older version of the directory, and no new sites that are added can be seen on the public side. When the upgrade is complete, your site (and lots of others) will reappear. Just be patient.

Thanks a lot lachenm for the update, now I can relax, get up some new pages, enjoy the brilliant company of my two girl kids who want daddy to play, have a good glass of wine and be patient for however long it takes - LOL

It is perhaps worth noting that the RDF dump comes NOT from the public pages, but from the database. So it is conceivable that the site show up on directory.google.com before dmoz.org--in any case, regardless of what you see on the public page here, it'll get wherever the RDF takes it as quickly as any other site will.

Dear hutcheson

Thank's a lot for your clearification, don't one just love it when it's "powered by people" rather than "powered by spiders" and other crawlers - LOL
