Hi, I work for a major internet retailer in the home improvement category. We sell a wide variety of products all throughout the US including:

  • bathroom products (tubs, toilets, etc.)
  • kitchen products (sinks, faucets, etc.)
  • lighting fixtures (ceiling fans, lamps, etc.)
  • outdoor items (grills, patio heaters, etc.)
  • furniture (indoor & outdoor)
  • home decor items (fountains, paintings, etc.)
  • recreational and sport equipment (exercise bikes, volleyball nets, etc.)
  • fireplaces (indoor & outdoor)
  • hardware (cabinet hardware, outdoor signs, etc.)

We sell over 50K unique products at competitive pricing with top brands like Kohler & Weber and our website has been around for 15 years.

I have worked for this website across two different companies and have not been able to get the website listed on DMOZ and we are a great, reputable site.

I believe we have tried to list multiple times over the past 15 years but have never gotten submitted.

I recently submitted to (Top : Shopping : Home and Garden : Home Improvement) for our website. It seems to be moderated and I think this is the best category.

Our description is short but detailed enough. Can someone please help me to get my site listed - based on the description above is there a better area? I would really like to get our site listed.

I appreciate your work here and will kindly take any criticism and help I can get. Thank you.

Can someone please help me to get my site listed
No. We don't discuss specific websites or accept requests here and only a small percentage of our volunteers ever visit this forum anyway.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

<added> You might find this instructive.
