It seems the editors for my category remove sites that actually relate to and provide the particular topic and only provide sites that are against the topic only, or sites that no longer work. Classy. This is total incompetence. I have a top 5 google listing and been waiting for a year+ to have my site listed. This will not happen because my competitor is the editor.

DMOZ has lost all credibility in my book.

If you have something beyond "My site isn't listed yet" to show that editorial abuse is happening, the best thing to do is file an abuse report, not come here to complain.

If you know of sites in the directory that no longer work, redirect to other sites, are about the wrong topic etc, we really want to know about it. Please provide pointers in this thread. As I'm sure you are aware, URLs change owners, sites change content and die all the time, and although dead sites are removed from public view by an automated process from time to time, there are many quality control issues that the tools don't catch.

If you know of editor abuse, please use this form to report it. Thank you.

Well I would appreciate a mod with some power to help me out. The editor went as far as to remove several listings from there. Legitimate listings for the category. I would rather see my competitors listed than the garbage that is there.

I would suggest that you follow the advice given above -- use the public abuse reporting form to report your concerns. A meta editor will look into the matter.
