http://www.marketingtool.com submission status?
Hi folks,
I am emailing to request the submission status of Marketingtool.com. At several points over the past 1-2 years I've requested it's inclusion at:
http://dmoz.org/Business/Marketing_and_Advertising/Internet_Marketing/Resources/Directories/
I believe the site may be banned. If so, is it possible to determine the reason? I'm willing to take any corrective action necessary.
In the mean-time, I'm downloading the 276mb compressed rdf file. I'll be combing through it to make sure you don't have my site listed with its old domain name (which I imagine would violate the terms of dmoz). I'm going this route because I'm nearly certain that the dmoz.org url search isn't working (it only returns internal url results).
If I find multiple listings, what is the protocol for requesting duplicate removal? Because my site is a geographic directory for various marketing-oriented vendors, a long time ago it had accumulated up to 20 links in various dmoz.org regional business directories (illinois ... web design, hawaii ... web design etc). Originally when those dupes were all removed during the big reorganization it seems that all links to Marketingtool.com were removed as well.
Ideally, with some work on my part, I'd like to get just one listing to Marketingtool.com in the appropriate category mentioned above. I'm willing to do everything that is required to make sure this happens.
Thanks!
Sean.
