removing multiple category submissions

Hi Editors,

- Is it incorrect to submit to more than one section? Can one cancel it if you do so?

The thread here http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=36137
suggests that it is incorrect, but the FAQ says:
"Can I make a submission to my subject category and one to Regional where I am located?" Answer - If the site has something that is clearly of regional relevance, yes....."

Should we therefore take it upon ourselves to post in subject and regional categories, ot should we leave it to the Editors?

If a site has a physical office location prominent on it, it is accepatable to make one submission to a category in the "Regional" tree, and one in a category which is not in that tree, yes. Note this this should be made in the category for the locality which is closest in description to the physical location of the office.

So, for example, if someone has an office for a Web Development company in a suberb of a city, then it should be submitted to the category for that suberb (whether or not it has a sub-category for web developers), rather than to the nearby city.

[Note: This applies only to sites which are only in the English language - there are additional guidelines for sites which are also in other languages].

Thanks Alucard, it appears that I've gotten my submission correct this time.

We recognise that it is complicated, and it can be a major time investment to try to work your way through all the documents about our guidelines that we have to deal wioth on a daily basis.

But that is really what we are trying to do on this board - provide the forum for people to learn. So it's nice to see that is sometimes has its intended effect. :)
