Men's Health Status

I heard Health: Men's_Health: Procedures: Penis_Enlargement was under renovation. I did have a warning site accepted and then it suddenly disappeared without any apparent reason. For the past several months, I have be resubmitting the site http://www.penisenlargement-8inches.info . I have yet to hear a word despite numerous inquiries.

The site is not fancy, mostly text and meant to be as such. I do make links to the sponsors but I am free to tell it like is elsewhere.

It was deleted as being a doorway page to http://www.8ye.net which appears to be an affiliate program.

We caught that too and probably at the same time. We plugged all of the holes and have completely removed 8ye.net and all associates links from all sites. This was fixed long ago as www.8ye.net has been long removed and is hosted some where is China now. The oversight was not intentional it was an accident and since corrected.

Can we be re-listed?

I would go ahead and resubmit, in your desc. you might want to call attention to having corrected the error so that the editor is aware that the problem was corrected. <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

It might have appeared as doorway to www.8ye.net. FYI, they never had a functional affiliate section other than that of a button that does not work check it out for yourself. We had intended to create a large loop of sites. When we went to add content, we saw the affiliate link and killed all of them (sites that is) and started fresh. We are back to gathering data and haggling over how we are going to structure the scam directories. Though the content needs more work it is very useful information.

Are any of the refferal sites allowed to have affiliate links?
If not, then I will tell them to take them off tonight <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

How can I tell that the problem is fixed?

I would give a description and then in as few words as possible, say something like ****please note, site used to lead to ___, has been corrected.

An editor with experience in this category will decide if there is enough content to list. I did notice that your site leads to some other sites under the "directory" section but also contains deeplinks within your site.

Most of the links are to other sites and all are pretty well loaded. I do not make any money from these links as you may have noticed. There are no embedded affiliate id's just straight urls. I will do anything that needs to be done to keep this site up. There are so many people getting ripped of by peddlers selling everything as PE tonic and mostly viagra like products being peddled as PE supplements.
We have a licensed compounder that will be providing data too.
Alot of AOL users used to e-mail and call us with questions.

I'd be shocked if any editor lists this. I like that big block of visible repeated word spam text on the bottom of the home page. Sheesh.

I've even reported that spammer you just listed to Google. Forget about the issue of getting listed in the ODP with this kind of spamming. Consider the possibility that you'll get an ODP listing, while also being banned in all the major search engines. Unless you actually want the Google Death Penalty. <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Editors should only be judging sites by the actual content. We do not care about search engine spam or similar things as editors. If enough unique content is found on the site, it does not matter how it is formatted or which amount of spam the page contains.

Anyway: Since this site still is a mirror site (or portal or however you call it), it wont be listed anyway. And please dont try: We dont hand out leavlets "How to make my site appear as if it was something unique"

Notice the part about that I'd be shocked if an editor added this, and the part about the blatant SE spamming, were 2 different sentences. I in fact noticed that this site was a portal even before I spotted the spam. True, it is possible that if a site has enough unique content it could qualify to be added to the ODP. I am aware this cannot be used as a basis for an ODP editor to reject a site. However, I'd say the odds that any site submitted to a *penis enlargement* category which was using blatant SE keyword stuffing like this actually having gobs of quality, unique content are all kinds of low. <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

I have removed all the of keywords on the headers and the footers. I honestly did not understand the depth of the problem.
As for being a portal, I just don't understand (the portal) issue. All websites are a portal of sorts aren't they?.

Is it the external links?
Must all content be from the same url?
What exactly makes this site a portal?
If it is the external links to other sites then are not PE sites portals?

I could really use some definitive help here. I am pretty good with networks, routers and high-end hardware but I must admit that I stink at understanding how the other PE sites remain listed and mine is considered a portal.

Let's assume that I am totally stuiped and need a good bonk on the head, ok? Advice is readily welcomed and heeded.

These guys stole our associates content, they have consumed most of google free links and have hundred of paid links in adworks.

If my page was deemed a portal and an affiliate program. The what do you call this...? I call it "rats in the corn" there is a double standard at work and someone is keeping others out, purposely.

Yes, some slip through. Just for your information: They where listed about a year ago, from totally different editors... Either they where different from now or the editor maybe was new to that area, or he just missed the links.

An extreme comparison: Some criminals are never caught by the police. Do you want the police to stop hunting them to treat them all equaly? I dont.

Keep hunting and treat them equally. However, I was nailed as portal which was fixed by us before, we even knew that we were removed.
And I am still not re-listed, nor an editor and I have become the police of sorts.
