modeling sites multiple listings and the odp

Ok, so amongst other things when not building websites for ecom, i do modeling and celebrity photos and the site in question is not a pay/member site.

since i have actors, models, and casting resources, how can i bridge the gap. currently i am listed under one model i discovered 'giselle 'samson' but i also host images i took for discovering other talent lijke carmen electra, ricky martin, as well as major clients.

honestly, if given only one option, i'd rather be listed as a photographer than with specific celebrity names. although multiple listings is always good :) more hooks catch more fish.

i also spun the domain to make a .net version community, and was told once before that since in the past the com/net were the same, i would not be in a position to turn the net into a completely different resource.

I will gladly edit.

Do you have problems with hotlinking, or why do I only see images of a bold man in a suit showing me the finger? :explosive:

the only blocked ip i have on my site is an aol node. you got issues that are not going to be unique to me. have you been playing with your browser id?

back on topic...

Are you really blocking on browser id? Or on REFERER?

(I suspect some ODP editors routinely block REFERER as part of their security setup.)

Hutcheson is right, it seems you're blocking on referrer. It is completely up to you what you do on your site, but you could take into consideration to give 'legitimate' visitors of your site some more information on how their security/internet settings should be configured if they want to see your site.

Such problems will not prevent your site from being listed (provided it is listable), but I, as an editor, will not disable my firewall or spend much time on trial and error tweaking my settings before reviewing a site. I'd rather leave it where it is for someone else to have a look at it.

I block refferers via www.isapirewrte.com to .jpg/.gif content to prevent hotlinking, which is a huge problem for me, I will restate that one model on my site was sucking down 2-3gb per week of her images being hotlinked into blogs and bbs.

now can anyone answer my question?

how can i correct my dmoz listing or add multiple listings to reflect the celebrities and other content to my site?
