Months waiting for submission

I have waited for 4 months to get into ODP. I have submitted my site each month to a different category in case there was no editor. Is there any advise I can get on getting my website into the ODP database? The website is www.traveltranz.com - Thanks, Bryan

The only piece of advice that I'm going to give you is to stop submitting. The submission form says quite clearly that you should pick the one, best category for your site, and submit it there. Submitting to several different categories is called spamming, and spamming is a good way to get your site a bad name.

Oh, you're in the database alright; sat in lots of different queues awaiting review. You have done all you can do; in fact you are starting to do too much. Someone will get to it eventually; we just don't promise exactly who, and exactly when. No further action is required. So, which category do you think is actually the *one* best category for your site then?

After that, you may check back in at least a month or two for an update report, by reusing this same thread.

Bryan. It surprised me that your site has not been reviewed after waiting so long. The Florida editors are well known for being on top of their categories.

I checked and found that there are no sites waiting to be reviewed at Regional/North America/United States/Florida/Localities/F/Fort Lauderdale/Travel and Tourism/Travel Services which I thought would be the most appropriate location for your site.

Could it be that you might have submitted your site to the wrong or unsuitable category? I strongly suggest you send it to the above cat and am confident the editors there will review it in no time.
