Move to appropriate category

We have been online since 1996 and way back when, our catalog site, http://store.yahoo.com/tropi-ties/index.html, was put under the catagory, "Shopping > Clothing > Casual."

Today, we sell almost entirely women's swimwear and would like to be moved to a more appropriate category: Shopping > Clothing > Swimwear

How can we do this?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks so much for your help.

I went ahead and did this. Will this change take as long to process as it would if I was submitting a new listing?

Yes, it probably will. Sigh.

I wish there were some way of automatically giving "update URL " requests a higher priority, since they usually fall into one of three categories.
1) Site in wrong category
2) URL is wrong
3) "Please keyword-stuff my listing more so we can rank well on Google."

The first two are both quality issues, and we WANT to fix them quickly. (Not having your new site listed yet does NOT make the ODP look bad; having irrelevant or nonexistant sites still listed DOES make the ODP look bad.) The third is, um, easy to take care of quickly. And, actually, that isn't the most common form of spam, so it wouldn't hurt to handle (i.e. reject) them quickly.

Legitimate description change requests do occur, and are so rare that it wouldn't hurt to give them a high priority also.

But all of this is my fantasy. In the real world, "Update URLs" ad "Add URLs" go into the same queue (which, as you can read here, is no queue at all more of a jumpled heap.)

You've actually had to deal with those too? Surprising people try this. Strike that. Considering some of the ridiculous spam I have encountered, I should expect requests to keyword stuff existing listings.

That is the majority of requests if you ask me

On the bright side, I usually process updates first (they take far less time usually, if submitted correctly) and I'm guessing that others do so also...so maybe the wait won't be as bad as it sounds.

OK, I guess I'll have to continue to be patient. Thanks for the quick and polite reply.

If I never see a change, is there a point where I should go in again and resubmit?

No, I wouldn't resubmit without getting some sort of word from us on this forum. While the update request is still sitting there, resubmitting won't serve any purpose other than taking up your time.
