My website is (thankfully) already listed with dmoz. My question is, because the site has many pages in other languages, should I resubmit for those languages?

You may submit to the appropriate world language categories.

Do not, however submit individual pages. Submit only your root URL and be certain that the additional language pages are avaialble from there.

Also, be sure that the additional language pages are not machine translations.

No kidding! I've seen those, and they are garbage. The I have pages are in languages that I speak. I don't have a translation for every page, but the pages for which I do are in an index on the home page, and there are language-specific links to each index.

Should I wait a month between submissions? I'm concerned that I'll incur a "spamming" penalty by submitting the same link more than once, even though it's going to entirely different categories (languages).

Thank you! I have submitted it in Spanish and Portuguese, to what I think is the most appropriate category in each language.

Realistically, how long will it be before they are listed? (and I DO understand that there is a significant wait) When is the reasonable time to start checking --- 6 months?

We definitely appreciate your willingness to be patient. There is, unfortuantely, no way to tell, it could be tomorrow, it could be in 2006.

A quarterly follow-up is not unreasonable. Create a new discussion thread in the site submission status forum, and include clickable links to each category. You don't need to do a posting for each category.
