Multilingual site and Submitting to DMOOZs...

Greetings from Turkey;

i have a site (language:English) ( but not yet listed in Dmoz) and i want to publish my site content as dutch, german, french, arabic, ....etc also. And there are international, like dmoz.be, dmoz.de, dmoz.nl,...etc. Can i sumbit these pages to these international dmoz addresses, for example:
dmoz.nl -->( http:/www.mysite.com/dutch)
dmoz.de -->( http:/www.mysite.com/german) ....etc

Can i do this? Or is it forbidden? i want publish my site as multilingual.

If you look carefully, http://dmoz.nl/ goes to dmoz.org, but only includes the categories for Dutch language sites.

You may suggest any non-English site in the same way as other sites. All submissions go through dmoz.org. However, when suggesting a non-English site, it MUST be to a category within World, and within the language. This if your English site went to Computers/Software/Freeware/ then the Dutch version would go to World/Nederlands/Computers/Software/Freeware/

This has nothing to do with countries - only languages.

So a travel agency in Germany that does cruise ships goes in Recreation/Travel/Specialty_Travel/Cruises/Travel_Agents/Europe/ but the site in German goes to World/Deutsch/Freizeit/Reisen/Schiffsreisen/Kreuzfahrten/

But different editors reviews the pages, right? And should they add to relevant directory? Think about this please: i have 10 languages in my site ( mysite.com, mysite.com/dutch, mysite.com/german, ...etc) , So maybe editors can add mysite to 10 different categories. is this true?

Yes, in theory, you could have your site in ten languages in ten different categories. And each category is likely to have a different editor, since not too many editors will speak ten languages. Note that just because a site was accepted into ODP in one language, there is no guarantee that other languages would be accepted. For example, sites that are badly translated, or translated by an automatic software system would be rejected.

Also remember that the categories in other languages may not match the English ones exactly, since the categories are created to meet the demand of sites. So in English, Computer/Software may be divided into hundreds of different sub-categories since there would be tens of thousands of sites, while in Spanish, there would likely be less sites, so need to have as many sub-categories.

I don't know if you speak 10 languages. If so, it's 9.5 more than I do; if not, we won't list automatically-translated pages (Babelfish, etc.). Any surfer can do that for himself on any page, so there's no benefit to anyone in having such a translation saved on the site.

No Hutcheson, this is city guide website that driven by a travel agency and a web agency. So Travel Agency has multilingual employees. This is not too much hard.
