Sorry, but without details (like URLs etc.) there is no answer to this question.

I mean i have n number of client websites, I wish to submit them in ODP. I fear that they will deny it if I submit them at one go.

You will not be punished for suggesting more than one site.
Unless these sites are all from the same owner, are all mirros or all have the same content.

A similar concern

I've posted a request for inclusion of my lady, Marjorie's, What's New, Emu? to the Recreation - Humor - Animals category. We found later about this forum, and then read carefully the guidelines (sorry). We are a bit concerned that we may have submitted twice. http://www.whatsnewemu.com

If this is so, it is inadvertent. We've been live for quite a while, and we watch the traffic grow. If I plug in our keywords to Yahoo, we come up right on top, but in Google, nowhere in the first many pages. Marjorie thought we must have neglected to submit to dmoz.

We're both in our sixties and have this daydream of someday breaking even on the yearly expenses of running a site. If we have submitted twice, I can't see how to tell, and I certainly would not have had I known. But, then, if we did submit before, how could it have been so long without being listed?

"Pets" is one of our keywords, but there are articles about dolphins, elephants, peacocks and reindeer, and that's just so far. So that's why we chose not to list in the "pets" category.

Can anyone help with some information?

Best to you . . . John Boyd

Submitting twice isn't going cause a problem.

If you want to know the status of your suggestion, you need to head over to the Site Submission Status forum, read the forum guidelines (so that you know how to format your request properly), and post a request (make sure that it's at least a month after you last suggested the site before you post there, though).

Thanks so much, Motsa / Glinda . . .

. . . It seemed quite understandable that mutiple submission would be a no-no for all the overload it could cause for already overloaded editors.

Now how will I figure when a month is up . . . duh.

Well, if you don't remember when you suggested the site, the best thing to do is start counting from today (i.e. come back in a month from today).

Well, that certainly works. Seems like such an obvious and simple solution, I am chagrined not to have thought of it. Clarity on your part. Marjorie's suggestion, too, was good. That it probably dates from near when we joined this forum.

Great forum, BTW. With such adept coders, one wishes for a thread to post questions on site and page construction beyond the subject of dmoz. But then, as I mentioned, volunteers are certainly already overloaded. And I do learn from other forums.

Thanks again and best to you . . . John Boyd
