multiple submissions

Hi everyone,
Several people are working on submitting to directories for our company website and it has resulted in probaby 3-4 submissions to the open directory project within a couple months. The directory has not listed us yet and we do not understand why because we are a reputable custom apparel company submitting under the appropriate heading. Could the multiple submissions be hurting us?
