My Listing Disappeared!!

Hello,
I had been trying for two years to get my web site listed with DMOZ in the Book Arts section. Finally, my listing appeared! I was ecstatic! However, there was a typo on the listing, and I felt that some important info was left off, so I submitted a listing update. Today when I checked to see if the listing had been fixed, I find that my listing is totally gone! Did I insult someone by pointing out the spelling error? Were they offended that I wanted a more accurate description of my site? Will it reappear soon? Am I stressing-out for no reason? Am I going to have to wait two more years to show up again?? I have made no major changes to my site which would make it unsuitable for the category I submitted it to. (Arts: Crafts: Book Arts: Book Artists)

And the stranger thing is, although I'm not in the listing I submitted to, when I do a search for my URL, it shows up in the search results. But when I click on the category . . . it's not there! I just don't know what to make of this.

Any advice on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated!

Your site hasn't disappeared - it was put into a more appropriate category. :)

Sites that have prices on their products and offer a way to order them through the site (mail, shopping cart, fax, etc) - belong in Shopping.

Thank you for the quick reply. How can I find out where it is? In the search it still shows up in "book arts."

Also, most of my site is techniques and how-to's. Would it be advisable to submit it to the book arts category again? I really want people who are looking for information on how to make altered books to find my site, as well as those who would like to purchase something.

Thanks for the help,
Karen

Probably not. if the editors felt a case could be made for a dual listing, then they would most likely have done so at the time they moved the original listing.

dual listings (wel call them deeplinks) are something that the editors decide upon, and assistance (in the form of additional suggestins) are not appropriate.

It's in [cat]Shopping/Crafts/Multiple_Craft_Artisans[/cat]. (She'd be able to find it the next time google spiders DMOZ, which happens fairly often.)
