My sad story

Last year I launched a website with a free domain name which somehow got into Dmoz. I truly don't remember submitting it here because back than I was a complete Noob and didn't think much of it. Since than that site has been given a new .com domain name and has be re-engineered. However now that I am a bit more knowledgeable in the Webmaster field and understand the advantages of being in Dmoz, my site is not there anymore. If I was a bit more smarter back than I would have done a 301 re-direct, now I have to start my journey of getting listed in Dmoz from scratch. In fact, it's interesting, the site is not in the category anymore but if you do a search for it, the site will come up. Do a search for "sports.pt-web.net" and you will see that this site was once in the category of Health: Fitness: Advice and Guides. I wonder why they keep that history, kind of cool (and sad) though :D

http://www.sports.pt-web.net/ was suggested in August, added in December and unlisted in March because the site had been inactive for 4 weeks.

It looks like it has been hit by a bug - by looking at the category I can see it was listed and unlisted but the site itself has no apparent history - to all intents and purposes anyone looking at its history would come to the conclusion that it had never been listed at all. It should be back in the heap of sites awaiting another review but it isn't. Previously it was listed under http://www.sportfit.uni.cc

You may find it in Search because that always lags behind the category listings - sometimes days, sometimes weeks, sometimes months. It depends when the search database was last updated (it is low priority as we aren't a search engine).

While it was listed you could have submitted an URL Update request to have the URL changed. Too late now though, you will need to suggest the new URL afresh.

Yep, the uni.cc domain acted as a redirect for the original domain to make it more user friendly and easier to remember. It was a mess of a site from a technical point of view, hopefully I can get listed again.
