I have read many things in the forum before asking my question so I understand how this forum works and how to ask my question. I know we aren't supposed to submit a site more them once and i know in doing all i have done with my site that I have forgotten and submitted it a 2nd time. I was however curious about how an affiliate site is determined more so in my category of travel. My site has all original content with many how to articles. One of the how to articles for example tell how to pick the hotel that is right for you then goes on to tell people how to use the hotel reservation service that my site links to which of course is a place I send my viewers to and would get a commission from if they book a hotel. With this in mind how is my site really any different then let say expedia or travelocity. they are giant companies but they don't own the hotels or airlines or rental car companies they are nothing more then a broker like me and get paid a commission just like me. So would someone look over my site and say lots of good stuff great site but there is a link on each page so you can't be on dmoz or it is only a concern if there were dozens of links on each page with the content on each page being low quality. Thanks for the info. Ps I do agree with many of the notes I have read speaking of needing a place to check the status of a site being accepted because some people have said they have gone for years without hearing a thing and that is a bit much don't you think. Thanks Mark

Sorry, but that is a secret we can not tell.
It would give to much information to people who want to do wrong.

Simply said: We look at the unique content. Can we find it easely. Is it worthwhile. What is the purpose of that content.
Even more simple: Does the website add value to the category when we list it.

Yes please. Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.
