My site has changed since I submitted, what do i do

This is my first post in RZ.
I hope to get my sites listed on DMOZ.

My query -

My website was submitted to a category which was relevant to it 2-3 months back. The website has completely changed since then. Previously it used to cater to webmasters, hence I had submitted to a web design category. Now the site has evolved into a normal users website, due to part sale.

Now, I submitted to dmoz some 3 months back. It has not been listed on it yet.

I want to submit/resubmit the site in a different category altogether.

What do I do? If I resubmit, will it get deleted from review?
Or should I contact the editor of the category I want to submit to and tell him/her my problem.

Please guide.

If you only suggested the site once before, go ahead and do it a second time to the more correct category.

It's impossible to know which of the two suggestions would be reviewed first, so it could be the first one gets reviewed and moved to the other categroy anyway.

I am not sure. The max I might have submitted must be 2 times in last 7-8 months, but I have surely submitted 3 months back.


Is it a good idea to tell the editor of the category, that there may be a duplicate submission in another category?

No, because a lot of editors (editors from higher cats, metas, etc.) may edit in the category you submitted to.
